EXPLORERS: HISTORY OF THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST (K–8)
Wednesdays 1:30-2:30pm
Join our parent-led homeschool class where learning comes to life! Students engage in history through hands-on activities, bringing the history of the Pacific Northwest to life through art, science, and engineering. Kids from elementary to middle school will explore, create, and discover while having fun with every lesson. Build confidence in reading and writing with proven, multi-sensory methods. Students strengthen comprehension, phonics, spelling, and vocabulary through hands-on strategies and engaging online tools. Price ranges from $15-25 per class depending on enrollment

ELEMENTARY PHYSICAL SCIENCE (K-3rd)
Tuesdays 12-1pm
In this class, we will use Adventures in the Physical World: Level 2 from Master Books, an award-winning curriculum that introduces energy, force, motion, simple machines, matter, astronomy, meteorology, and geology. Students will engage in hands-on experiments to bring these concepts to life. Families may also choose to purchase the curriculum for more in-depth study at home. Price ranges from $15-25 per class depending on enrollment

UPPER ELEMENTARY/MIDDLE SCHOOL SCIENCE (4TH-9TH)
Tuesdays 12-1pm
In this class, students will explore the nervous, respiratory, and circulatory systems through hands-on experiments and engaging activities. Using .Anatomy from Master Books, they will discover how the brain communicates, how we breathe, and why the circulatory system is vital. Families may also choose to purchase the curriculum for deeper study at home. Price ranges from $15-25 per class depending on enrollment

Success Learning Center, based in Ketchum, ID, is a full-service tutoring center offering personalized, one-on-one academic support for students of all ages. New this year, they will now be hosting weekly classes for our homeschool group in Hailey.
Course Schedule
- 11:00am–12:00pm — Elementary Language Arts
- 12:00–1:00pm — Elementary Physical Science
- 12:00–1:00pm — Upper Elementary / Middle School Science
Pricing
Classes are $15–$25 per hour, depending on total enrollment:
- 1–5 students: $25 per child
- 6–8 students: $20 per child
- 9+ students: $15 per child
Families will be billed directly by Success Learning Center at the beginning of each month for each enrolled class. To register, you need to have an active membership with the Wood River Homeschool Co-op.
